I know we are all dying about the supp. draft today.

Minus well head over to NFL.COM and vote for Ronnie in their poll.

Which of these second year running backs will gain the most yards in 2006?

Frank Gore, Samkon Gado, Ronnie Brown, Cadillac Williams, or Marion Barber???

Believe it or not, I'd be tempted to go with Frank Gore. His OC is now Norv Turner.

Sadly, no one would even think of that outside of San Francisco. Most people will just say Cadillac because he won ROTY.

I think people assume just rushing yards. Total yards you're right, Ronnie a clear advantage.

As things stand Caddy gained 1,259 total yards. Ronnie gained 1,132 total yards.

But Ronnie did that with only 4 games of being a featured tailback, and 11 games of 1/2 work with Ricky Williams. Cadillac Williams had a few games he sat out injured, and a few more he wasn't effective because of the injury, but he was the featured player for the rest of those games and Gruden just fed and fed and fed him.

Yeah if Gore stays healthy, always a big IF, then Norv is gonna love him. He was a highly talented player at UM with all kinds of injury problems, and he showed that talent in San Fran last year. He can break off BIG gains...like Fred Taylor back in the day.

Norv loves a featured tailback. He doesn't like RBBC. He likes to find that one guy and run with him.

I can't believe Cadillac is ahead by so much... Then again had Ronnie not split the duty last year he would have gained a lot more yrds, attention and perhaps rookie of the year... Oh well, this year he will show why Saben picked him!!
