IM Curious to see just how far AJ has fallen from the eyes of Fin Fans. Brock Berlin has showed a much stronger arm than I thought he had and NICE POISE in the pocket. He doesn't look to be frantic in there and makes some nice throws. If we had to decide right now, either AJ Feeley a guy we traded a 2nd round pick for or Brock Berlin, a undrafted FA Rookie, who would we rather see on the team? I didn't include Sage on this, it would defeat the whole purpose.

? Defense looks pretty good, yes we can use more depth but this is a more pressing issue.
 
i really like brock.. but we need AJ around for this year.

I disagree. Yes the defense looks good (1st team) after that we're not too solid. O line is improving, but more pressing than QB. Don't get me wrong, we need a QB, but Aj or Brock isn't gonna make a difference. Then again, it's just a poll, so I'll stop.
 
If AJ does not show something this week, I would rather he be gone! And the Steelers defense looked mighty good last night, so Gus and AJ will be tested.
 
I'm rooting for AJ but if he falls behind Rosenfelds, then I'm all for axing him and saving some cap space. Berlin seems like he should be a 3rd stringer in the NFL, atm and that he may move up a bit down the road.
 
Are you kidding me? Defensive depth? At least our starting D is pretty damn good, we've needed a QB since Marino retired in 2000, our starting qb's are other teams backups come on now how sad is that?

We definately need a QB. The poll has the names of 4th string QB. We've got four of them.

i wish rick would tell us what he saw in aj because otherwise we'll never know.
-he played behind harrington and smith at oregon.
-his stats from 2002 when he started 6 games for the eagles:
6 td 5 int 54% completion and 75 qb rating.

everyone says the guy is young in terms of football experience and he is,
and he may very well become a gannon when he's mid 30s or something,
but what are we supposed to do? pay him 3 mil a year for the next 5 years
to be a backup with potential? i have a feeling this will be aj's last year
in miami.
 
I would have no problem losing AJ if we can get something for him in a trade. A 5th or a 6th round pick, anything. I don't think I'd just cut him b/c Berlin couldl probably be safely kept on the ps.
 
UN-FOCKIN Real that its 58pct for Berlin and 49pct for Feeley. This goes back to the EXCELLENT Thread " How to Ruin a Sports Franchise" Amazing!!
 
whoever performs better this pre-season and so far Brock Berlin has performed better, I would go with Berlin
