Waddle...Tua...Jones...Awkward?

Will Waddle's comments about Tua and Jones matter now that he is in Miami? Will there be some fences to be mended? Will it just be nothing at all? Maybe Waddle comes out in vocal support for his QB? Whatcha think?
 
Not one damn bit. Wish people would wake up and use some common sense as well here. Tua was already in the NFL, he made it! Of course they are gonna say Mac and try and help his stock/reputation. They are all friends and now professionals and this is so silly even if they did actually prefer Mac.
 
I think Tua and Waddle have spoken almost everyday for the last few weeks and probably have talked or texted today.

I’m betting Mac Jones’s name didn’t come up once other than to say “we gotta go beat him now”.

Tua vouched for Waddle to be a Dolphin or Waddle wouldn’t be a Dolphin.
 
Tua does not strike me as someone who would be sensitive to Waddles comment. I bet if Tua was asked who he liked playing with more between Jeudy, Ruggs, Smith, or Waddle, I doubt he’d say Waddle first, so it goes two ways.
 
It shouldn't be a problem. But if things start going wrong you can be sure it will be brought up by someone. He and Smith got some terrible advice on how to handle that question, dumb move, whether it's true or not, just say you like both the guys, it's not hard.
 
It's a non story. Only way it could be a story is if Waddle says Jones is still the better QB when he's a Dolphin. Even then, it's a weak story

Point I made yesterday on Jones, he couldn't unseat Tua in 3 years there. Saban literally threw Tua back in before he was ready in big match ups against LSU and the ill fated Miss State game where he did his hip, rather than play Jones.

The other interesting point I made, at least to me yesterday was that the Pats have two polar opposites in their QB room, in Newton and Jones, good luck creating a common playbook there :)
 
I don't think it matters. I think that they both want to win and that would lead to Tua throwing touchdowns and Waddle catching them.

This is what I kinda thought too. Does anyone think he will come out in public support for Tua now?

I think it's hysterical that Jones is the first QB the 'draft genius' goes with. I guarantee that all the Grier is the worst crowd won't say a thing when Jones fails. I'll wait patiently.
