Wade Smith Vs Bill Yates

I apologize if this has been discussed already but I hear that Wade Smith, which he should, is the replacement for Dixon while the latter is injured. I heard lots of good stuff about Bill Yates the last week or so, what happened to him? How come he is not mentioned as a possible starter in Dixon's absence?

Billy Yates plays guard. So the thread probably should be called "Whitley vs Yates", as Yates has outplayed his Texas A&M alum. :)

the great Taylor Whitley has been outplayed by his undrafted college teammate...

as for Yates playing tackle...he is considered light and short for a guard...playing tackle...umm no.

What's so bad is Whitley will get the benefit of a doubt because his lofty draft status, But if Yates continue to impress, Whitley not Yates, should be a candidate for the PS. Some don't think Whitley will get there, some team will pick him up, I say let them, if it means losing Yates.
