It’s been a long off season and I can’t wait for training camp to start. Everyone is anticipating seeing how certain positions unfold like the offensive line and the secondary. It’s way too early to predict whether or not the line is good or not or if the secondary is still not good enough to make a difference. I just wish everyone will calm down and wait for THE PADS TO BE ON. Cause that is going to tell whether or not the Cam/randy really had a good 1st draft or not.

Our offensive line last year began the season on a horrible note but for some reason when Culpep was replace in the starting line up the line played a lot better which would make u believe that it wasn’t all the offensive line. I feel that the line played ok last year but I’m ecstatic about the college free agents we picked up like Julius Wilson, Stephen Parker, Tala Esera, Marion Duke. Not to mention Samson Satele and Drew Mormino to the mix from the draft. If two of these guys step it up it could make a big difference in making it to the playoffs or not (I’m thinking positive of course). Mark my words the line will be better than the last 5 or maybe 6 last years. I’m not to positive about the TE position for right now but time will tell.

Now, for the secondary it will better than most people would like to believe. With the monster front seven the dolphins have. As long as the defense can keep pressure (blitzing or not), that would be a huge lift and make the secondary job a whole lot easier. I also have my fingers cross on David Lofton and Geoff Pope to get in the mix and make some heads turn.

May the force be with the Dolphins to at lease make it to the playoffs.

Pads will tell us a lot, but it may be a year or two down the road before we can quantify this draft class. However, we should know a lot about our o-line and secondary by the time the preseason ends.

Yes, putting the pads on is not going to quantify this draft class. It will give us a better idea of what to expect from this team in the upcoming season, but that's about it.

Anticipation for this season is very high, and better yet, the expectation from the media is low. I think all the hype and super bowl predictions from last year did not help much. This year is a fresh start pretty much all the way around. I think good thinks will happen.
