Wait until bye week to get rid of Wanny

Do you think we should wait until the bye to axe Wanny? We can assume this season is pretty much done, it would be nice to give a new staff several weeks to prepare.

Exactly. That makes the most sense. Blow out Wanny, Wise, and Armstrong all at once. Make Bates the interim head coach for the rest of the season, bring in a couple of new assistants, reshuffle coaching responsibilities -- Foerster to o-line? Parmalee to special teams? Trestman to OC? -- and give them two weeks to try to get things together for the second half of the season. Don't forget that after our first game back from the bye, we'll have a full week on the West Coast with little else to do but practice and watch film.
