love the guy he's been a big time player for us over the years, but he is absolutely done, Quinn is stinking it up too
 
Quinn is the bigger disappointment. I have pretty much forgot he’s on the team.

Typical dolphin fan cuntiness. First game back from injury and that is what you judge him on
 
Both are done. Even before Wake's injury he wasn't doing much. Quinn the same. I see why the Rams gave up on him. I don't blame Wake too much. Father time catches up to everyone.
 
Wake still explodes off the ball and generates pressure from time to time. Yeah he’s lost a step and isn’t getting sacks like in years prior. But honestly he’s probably our best pass rusher. Which is pretty sad considering the millions we spent on Quinn and Branch and then a first round pick on Charles Harris. And our De’s still can’t get any pressure.
 
According to that PFF stuff (can’t recall what thread it was in) Wake is winning a higher % of his 1:1s than just about any DE in the league or something like that. Still a good player. No one on the line is getting sacks. Something is wrong w the scheme. Sack leader is Hayes w 2 and he hasn’t played since week 2 or 3.
 
Like I said in the game day thread the only ones worth keeping on defense are Howard, Fitz, Baker, and Taylor. That whole d line needs overhaul and the secondary needs a couple players as well. That better be priority in this upcoming draft which is D heavy.

i don't care what PFF says ,my eyes see no pressure or results, its not just this year either, been2-3 years now. but i agree something is rotten with this bullshit scheme

Why is it "bad" to say he's done? Sad,; yes, but he has had a great career. He's gotten the accolades.

The reality is, he's been playing on borrowed time since the Achilles injury. The REALITY is, we need to replace him.
 
Wake may be old but he's the best locker room presence that the Dolphins have. He's a leader and he's humble. Even if he's not getting sacks, we need him in the locker room. The defense is absolute **** right now. A guy like that can help right the ship....if the damn coaches step it up as well!

Respect you opinion no argument from me......Just not saying anything bad about Wake that's all.
