great news. does this also mean they are in talks for a new contract?

very few people ripped him. I would say the majority of the board quite supported him. if for some reason he does not get a contract extension I fully support Cam Wake holding out, that being said I dont think we are that stupid. Stupid enough to extend Sparano yes but not that stupid

Also I think he was proving a point and it wont come to anything drastic until training camp starts
 
By far our best player on the defensive side of the ball.

This is great news, hopefully Wake will get his new deal soon.
 
Great news! This could have had the potential to become a huge story/distraction (and I guess it still can) but it's nice to see Wake be the bigger man and return. Now, let's get some contracts straightened up and pay the man!
 
Good to hear, although I wouldn't overpay for him. He needs a good consistent season IMO. But if they want to throw boatloads of cash at a one year wonder, be my guest.

It's just voluntarily workouts anyways so I don't get what's the big deal. The guy is making 700k? And produced two pro bowl seasons. Um, I too wouldn't risk anything until I get paid.
