I know most people wanted him back and I understand why. He's been a great player/person but is he done? The fact is the last 3 years he's not been consistent and he's been hurt which doesn't help. Such a hard worker but last 2 years he disappeared for weeks at a time. NE's rule is they rather get rid of a player a year too soon than a year too late. I know part of the problem is with the other team on top they're running on us but even early on where is he? Zero sacks and zero tackles. The fact is the whole D-line other than Suh have not done much. After Suh the guy with the most tackles is Jones with 5. The D-line is way over paid imo. They can't seem to set the edge and there's not much of a pass rush. I'm sure Wake will have a good game at some point but I don't believe he'll be anywhere near what some people here were expecting him to be. The way I see it DE along with LB will be a big priority in the off season.

Ozzy rules!!

pretty sure he had a sack called back on a penalty, and i also remember him having a penalty that over-turned a major play as well....

so, you're right in that he's not stellar, but watching the games I've seen him causing chaos back there a few times....our d-line looked like the real deal against the seahawks until the last drive, and was basically neutered by the pats gameplan and quick passing plays....

i think we'll get production from wake, but i don't think it will match his salary...it's more of a legacy deal

Wake has always been a thorn in NE's side. When he was in, Wake saw a decent share of double teams.

You need to look at not just the stat line but pressures, etc. as well as his snap count (which was quite low against NE). If I had to evaluate his play, I would say when he's in, he's every bit as effective as say Mario on the pass rush, and that's a good thing. However, he's not the beast was, a least not yet (and maybe not ever :( )

Wake is now a passing down specialist. So the only time he'll appear on the stat sheet is when he gets a sack. He's definitely had some pressures, but no official sacks yet. Sometimes the sacks come in bunches.

For example, last year (2015), in the first 4 games, Cam Wake had ZERO sacks. Then in the next 3 games, he had SEVEN sacks (and four forced fumbles). Then he got injured.

I also distinctly remember seeing 2 plays where he was blatantly held and just didnt get a call. Wake is low on the list of Dolphin problems. Youd think an old player coming off an injury would be, but we have so many more.

Wake had a sack last week. They called it back on a ticky tac hands to the face on Howard. Wake is fine

Wake got to the QB as some of you guys pointed out. The sack negated due to hands to the face was a shame. He'll get some sacks - perhaps this week on this rookie QB. One guy who looks alright is Jason Jones - he seems pretty solid in both the pass and run games.

We wasted good snaps on him in the Last 5 Years, while trying to develop a quarterback. Who has never developed
