if any of you think miami can still make the playoffs you are DREAMING!!.Just be glad they have done as good as they have.The whole mathmatical part of the playoffs is a joke just like the format is.Now if there was four wild card spots like there used to be then they would have a chance but there isnt so forget about it. Yeah, we still have a fighting chance. Being a fan of miami can't I "dream" of getting to the playoffs? We have done very well this year and I am proud of how far we've come. I am just one that likes to stay optamistic and would love to see them make the playoffs since we havn't been there in a while. There is going to be dissappointment this year since the phins have exceeded many expectations to the point where we have beaten some good teams and have shown we are competative. So I am not ready to give up on our team which has not gave up on us all year. They have put together a very good season and we have found the areas we need to address next year. Going into this season I realistically thought 6-10 but told anyone that bashed me that they had a shot a 8-8 just because im optimistic.
I can see why you are looking forward to the phins next year though because I have thought about it as well. If we bring in a lot of defensive rookies and get them to have an impact like our rookies did this year we will be a very dangerous team.

i am a very optimistic dolphin fan and i still believe that we have a shot at the playoffs. however, that being said, it is going to be very hard for us because we r currently 1 game behind baltimore who has the tiebreaker on us so its rlly 2, and 1 game behind indy, and win indys sched the rest of the way, they can run the table. so yes it will be a real challege, but if we can win out,which maybe alittle easier now since the jets can have that division locked up already last game, we will make it. now whether or not the jets do bench there startes the last game if thats the case i dont no bc they may want to play at full strength to ruin miamis chances, but wtrvr thats to discuss another time.

I'm not giving up. We're only a game out of the last Wildcard spot! Talk about "waking up" all you want but I'm a die hard fan and I refuse to give up postseason talk until we're officially out of it!!! And if you don't like it....TOUGH cuz I know the majority of Dolphins fans around here still believe we have a respectable shot of making it to the playoffs!

No, what he is saying is at this point winning out is not gonna get us in the playoffs. Actually the truth of the matter is we won't be able to make it at 10-6 for sure, and 11-5 (winning out every game) will still not insure a wildcard. I really don't see us going to NY and winning so 10-6 is the best we are gonna do and I see more like 9-7.
Now on the bright side how sweet is it not to be looking at the draft at this point in the season?? This is SO much better than 1-15. We are truely headed in the right direction and this team gives us so much to believe in. Lets just finish strong and see how it plays out and then enjoy looking back at a much improved team.

We are only one game out. So we have a very good chance if we win the rest of our games. Plus we have a very easy remaing schedule. We play St Louis, San Fran, Buffalo, and KC and then we play the Jets on the last game of the season. It is very possible that the Jets maybe resting their starters on the last day, so we still have a decent chance. To give up just because we lost one game it crazy. I will not give up until we are mathamatically eliminated.
