the guy is a beast, why the hell is he not in more?

all game we had no pressure on Brady, they put Wake in he gets to Brady and makes him make a mistake...give this guy more snaps, he deserves it.
 
Yes he need to play more. I think they are still not sold on his coverage ability so they use him less. But he gets pressure almost all the time he has to play.
 
i saw Wake pushin that guy back i was just hopin Brady wouldnt get it off before he could get there

either Wakes sack or Vontaes pick are my votes for plays of the game...2 big time plays in crucial situations. Both of these guys stepped up big.

i understand that he may not be great in coverage but were playing Tom Brady and we had no pressure on him all game. You need to put pressure on these types of QBs in order to shut them down. You cant give them all day. Brady had like 2 incomplete passes in the first half and one of them his fullback or running back dropped. We were giving him all day back there so why not use a guy who can put pressure on him more than a handful of snaps a game?
 
Can someone explain to me ( US ) when he is not playing all the time?
 
The best thing was Wake used the bull rush to get the pressure on Brady. He uses the outside speed rush so often I think he caught the tackle offguard. If he builds a bigger repetoire (spin move maybe?) he could be an amazing pass rusher. He clearly needs to be on the field for every obvious passing down.

I mentioned it a million times since the start of the season.. I was absolutely LIVID to see him inactive in the first couple of games as he is our best pass rusher.

Whenever he has seen some playing time he has been all around the QB.

that is no coincidence. Wake is the real deal

I don't know why you're surprised about that.. He used his bull rush and rocked Jeff Otah into Delhomme on numerous occasions (including the last play of the game where Delhomme had to pass of his back foot)..

Wake did it against Buffalo successfully, and bull rushed his way past a very good OT in Jeremy Trueblood against Tampa numerous times.

And of course, against the Saints he had two very good bull rushes getting the OT backing into Brees in the first half of that game.. But Stupidly, they didn't put in Wake much after that.

And they torched us later in the loss.
 
He was on a mission to get to Brady on that play. Awesome!!!!
 
he doesn't get run cause our dc likes to play dinosaurs at olb...

i didn't get a chance to watch the game today,but i agree,Cam Wake needs to be in on every down imo...

I have to scrach my head when he's not in on obvious passing downs. He's often stopped cold but just as frequently he's one step away from a sack. I really hope he can step up next season and become an every down player.
 
its really unbelievable that he doesnt play more, hes our only consistent pass rusher. Porter shows up every once in awhile and i dont even know where JT is most the time. Even if Wake doesnt get to the QB and get the sack hes always applying pressure and hes wearing down the tackles/o-line.
