Man Wake looked like a man possessed on that sack... best sack I've seen in a long time...just man handled the double team. Seems like sometimes he just wants it more than others... Just so explosive ...would love to have a gif of that play!!!!! Also Sims and Jenkins stepped up big

That was a sick sack. That dude got mauled

he burns the rest of his adrenaline-dependent sacks on his ensuing high-powered celebration dance, then disappears. big deal against a 2-9 team. where was he in denver? for 8+mil a year, 5 games with zero sacks and counting.

You ever think that because he's so good, teams are double teaming him more? Taking up 2 blockers is worth paying him the money (Which we don't pay, the owner does) The benefit of being double teamed means an OV, Shelby or Dion should step up and get to the qb. I'm not making excuses, I don't need to. The man is a beast and should stay a Miami Dolphin.

Nah, we need to get VALUE for him while we can. VALUE could have made that sack tonight, don't you know? :sarcon:

So you think he would have more sacks if his sack dance wasn't so boisterous? Yeah, that would explain why he has 5 games without sacks then, wouldn't it?

Before you baffle us with any more of your irrational observations, try paying closer attention to the game action, why don't you? Wake was doubled a lot last night (and tripled last week). Also note that when the QB only drops back 15 times (vs. 49 rush attempts), sacks are not going to be plentiful. Finally, think about all of the huge game-changing plays Wake has made over the past few years (of which last night's sack was one), and then tell us again how he doesn't show up when we need him.

Cincinnati on Halloween anyone?

Oh please, I'm watching him on every down. He gets handled 1 on 1 the last three games by the opposing RTs, he faced double teams on a very small portion of his plays. His sack tonight came against the Jet TE #85 as well. He should win that match up. Sack versus quality RT and I'll call that 'dominating' in relation to the OP.

Summary of this thread:

One of you is sucking Wake's dick too hard and the other one isn't sucking enough.

And counting? Wot?

I have no idea why we had Jeff Cumberland one on one w/ Wake.
