The NBA suspended Detroit Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace one game for receiving his 16th technical foul of the season.
Wallace received his most recent technical foul with 4:56 remaining in the second period Friday night in the Pistons' 95-82 win over the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center. Wallace will serve his suspension on Sunday when Detroit visits the Los Angeles Clippers.
A player or coach receives an automatic one-game suspension after getting his 16th technical foul. Every other technical after (18, 20, 22, etc.) will result in a one-game suspension.
