Wallace told the Miami Herald that he thinks if the Dolphins would have had an offense that better used his talents as a deep threat, he could have led the league in touchdown catches, and maybe set a new NFL record.

“We have to,” Wallace said. “Definitely have got to get the deep ball going. That’s the difference between winning and losing a couple games. I should have had 15 or 20 more touchdowns. And that’s being modest. If you press me, you have no shot to cover me. Once I get you to stop your feet, it’s over.”

poor Mike Wallace , nobody in his NFL career has used him properly. Yea gotta love another idiot opening his pie hole about what he can do but never doing it.
I mean hell its would be a piece of cake for me to easily break the NFL record without even trying. Its impossible to cover me. Some players just have no perspective for the NFL.
He is the best ever I mean he said it. Wish the NFL was as simple as you think it is Mike

I would agree he should have had more TD's.......and could have accomplished that if he fought harder for the football, left his feet once in awhile or was more physical off the line!

WHY do these guys keep opening their mouths? Why.......

There are more problems with this organization than Wallace believing he could have had a much better season. I applaud any and all players who publicly call out this joke of an organization.

Wallace wants to get better and so does RT. I say it happens.

nothing wrong with wanting to get better but he is throwing numbers out of his azz. Shows he has no perspective on the guys that have set those records and seems to think their achievements are quite easy.

The worst part was after saying he should have 25 tds last year , that was him being modest .
Reminds me of the 2011 offseason when he started talking about 2000 yards receiving.
If 20 tds is so easy for you Mike how come u have never had more than 10

In all fairness the amount of times he was open deep was disgusting. I'm sure guys who have had big TD seasons could have had 10 more, but they'll rarely complain about how much more they could've had. Wallace knows his season was disappointing, but knows it didn't have to be.

I for one like the fire. A professional athlete should never be content about this.

The guy doesn't warm up with his QB pre game.. I sure do hope he's working with him in the off season.

Wallace also could have had over 100 catches if he knew how to use his hands properly.

I didn't take exception to anything he said. It wasn't bad. He was making a point and stressed that they need to get the deep ball going. He didn't rip coaches or QB or anything. The boasting - well that's just today's selfish pro athlete (sigh). Compared to Richard Sherman he looks so humble.

Just love personal responsibility or lack of. We seem to have a team of players that love to talk about what they are going to do or what should have happened.
Im amazed that Mike Wallace doesn't average a touchdown everytime he catches the ball since he is so self proclaimed good. First Ben rothlisberger was holding him back , now its Ryan Tannehill.

Well two years ago it was 2000 yards and he hasn't broke a 1000 since so lets hope this is not a trend and he has 3 tds next year
