I dont know if any of you play any war games like 40k or hordes but there are pieces to the game which while merely okay by themselves make the other pieces around them more powerful...
wallace was our force multiplier...he was actually better than okay by himself, he was our 1st 10 TD WR since chambers in 2003 and he helped miller run for 1000 yards...how did he help miller you ask? Because almost every play last year if he wasnt doubled by a corner/Safety heat least pushed the entire defense back. Safeties were a few steps back and leaning towards wallace, line backers were wary of him coming into their coverage areas so they took a few steps back. No matter how bad tannehill was at throwing him the ball deep, teams had to worry about it.
based on the 3 games I have seen now its easy to see the offense has taken a step back...they look just like how they looked in the 2nd half of the jets game last year after wallace came out. they have 1 play maker (Landry) which everyone is keyed on but while he is quick and elusive, he is not wallace speed. once you key on him you can think about R mathews but he doesnt have to be keyed on...
stills who everyone was so high on in the off season and how he was the burner wallace was and was gonna back people off has done jack. Jennings dropped an easy pass yesterday (only saw 1 because i mowed my lawn after we went down by 14). I have hopes for parker but tannehill has no feel for him yet so this year is a no go...
look at that o...we have zero o be afraid of and yes, wallace on the field would make this offensive unit better...less than 15 points per game average with him gone...last year it was 24.3...think about that...what is the difference between this year and last....it was wallace and 10 tds and making everyone on the team better
