Walter Football 3 round mock 11/5/09

I'm good with all 3 picks, but if we get playmakers at ILB and WR in the first 2 rounds, I'd prefer to see us get a young OLB for a young pass rush (Roth being a FA, JT being a FA/age, Joey's age/knees, Moses and Wake unable to crack the rotation) ot a NT to back up Solia.
 
If Clemons keeps performing, I would love to take a young pass rusher in the third round rather than a free safety. But as far as the draft goes, I love it.

Walking away with McClain and Benn would be amazing.

When has he been Proforming he has had a good Special teams play but thats about it he looks lost out on the field at FS
 
This draft would make me cry. But the term "too good to be true" comes to mind.
 
That would be a "dream come true" draft. Honestly, if we picked up Benn in the 2nd round that would be the steal of the new century. The guy is THAT good.
I am an Illini fan and dont let his subpar stats fool you, he has no QB to throw to him and his coaches are garbage (head coach is Zook sigh).

Benn and Vontae Davis are good friends so that would be cool if they were reunited in Miami!
 
This will never happen, Benn is only rated in the second round cuz his team sucks and he's not playing well either. Once the combine comes around, I bet he tears it up and puts himself back into first round consideration.
I can see Benn slipping into the second, but not after 10 picks, and i have a strong feeling our draft position is higher than 11th or whatever he's got us at.
Dreamy draft though
 
McClain, Benn and Goerge Selvie, who according to this Mock would still be there, would be the right choice for me...No, sorry, let me rephrase, I would go on a 2 week binge...
 
do any of you kinda want this season to be over so we can concentrate on the draft? I kinda do. I love the draft, its kinda like all 32 teams are in the super bowl. lol
