Walter Football: 4 Coordinators getting HC Buzz

If we had a competent HC bringing in Chud as OC this past offseason would have been perfect. Anyway, if any of those names become realistic targets for the Dolphins then it would be after Ross had swung and missed at the big names.

our bnext coach will be a guy that used to play for Dallas and is friends with tuna

Ozzy rules!!

As luck would have it, one of those guys mentioned on that list, Mike Zimmer, was with the Cowboys for a long time, including being the DC for the Cowboys under Parcells...

Seriously though, Zimmer is a very good coach. If I had to choose a coordinator to be my HC though, I'd probably go with Chud.

Very good track record. An innovative coach who relies on TE's more than most. Was the OC/TE's coach of the greatest college football team ever assembled in the 2001 Miami Hurricanes. Coached the 2 best offenses in Miami history. Had 3 tight ends drafted in the top 15. Coached TE's with the Chargers, where Gates had both of his 1000 yard seasons under him. Was the OC for the Browns for 2 seasons, and somehow had them the 8th ranked offense, turning Derek ****ing Anderson into a pro bowler, and Kellen Winslow with the lone 1000 yard season of his career. And now, the guy has done a hell of a job with Cam Newton. And in Chudzinski fashion, a large part of that is due to TE's, Shockey and Olsen, are 2nd and 3rd on the team in receiving behind Steve Smith.

Or maybe I just want him because I'm a Miami homer :idk:

What I do know though, is Chud gets it, unlike the morons in place now. "My philosophy is to have an attacking style offense. I think that's how you have to be offensively in this league,"

Here's one I would consider, the Bengals are 4-2 under a rookie qb and rookie WR. The offensive coordinator is Jay Gruden. What he has been able to do with two rookies in key positions is amazing. Just thought I throw that out there.

One thing to consider is their 4-2 because of Zimmervand that defense, not Gruden and that offense. they have had a very easy schedule to this point and that offense isnt exactly impressive. although i do like how hes handled Dalton. Wouldnt hire him as HC, I do really like Mike Zimmer though.

Jay Gruden is an interesting name because he has the task of developing a lot of young players that the former OC Bratkowski was unable to develop.
