5-11? Really? I expect some regression, but this is just ridiculous. The absolute worst that this team could do in my mind is 7-9. Really, I believe the Dolphins wind at 10-6, or equal 2008's record of 11-5. 5-11? Walter, Please.

He did a pretty good job breaking the team down but I think his prediction is worst case scenario. As far as our schedule, I'm so sick of hearing that as a reason we will regress this year. No one mentions the fact that every team in our division has a "hard" schedule. I also kind of doubt that all the above .500 teams from last year will still be above .500 teams this year. Things change from year to year in this league. I'm sure everyone figured we would be an automatic win going into last season.

I thought it was a good article. He made some mistakes like Thomas pulling a "biceps" when I believe it was a pectoral. Other then that he identified alot of the question marks we all have with the 2009 team.

The age of the Porter(way over rated anyway), JT and Ferguson.
Injury issues with Groves, Ronnie, Smiley, Thomas, Crowder(plus he sux).
The mediocraty of the WRs.
The wildcat's demise and the wasted 2nd rounder for it.
Lack of a pass rush.
That good defences can game plan Pennington.

He did say 5-11 was a worse case senario. I agree with his evalution of our draft picks also. Yes he tore down Turner, Hartline, Naborne as bad values in the draft for where they are picked but could still turn out to be good player. Folsom was only other pick he was a bit down on. So far as OTA's the only 1 of those 4 we have heard good things about was Turner. Hartline has been invisible, Naborne dropping passes and negative info and Folsom invisible also. In Turners case he may be another Dereck Hagan who looks good in mini camps and even preseason but when the lights come on a different story. I read somewhere that Turner appeared that way in his days at USC. Lets hope not but!!
