Anybody know about him? RB Syracuse, undrafted FA from last year, cut by Tennessee. Does he stand a chance or is he just a camp body?
 
He really doesnt have a shot. We already have 3 rb's that are most likely automatically on the 53 man roster ( brown, minor, morris) and as a undrafted back he would have a real hard time beating out some1 who was in our system for a year (harris) and another possible veteran that will be brought it. There just isnt room for an unproven guy atleast not on our final roster.

I'm glad to hear Reyes was invited to camp I live in Rochester Ny and seen alot of his games in Syracuse. His combine numbers were off the charts last year. I don't know if he will make the team but I hope he does.
 
I saw him play at Syracuse and he was awsome. If you look at his combine numbers last year he was in the top five in just about every category. I give him a chance to make the team but probally will be practice squad.
 
I liked Walter Reyes alot in 04-05. I never paid any att4ention to him last year because we had no issue at RB. If he is a UDFA I would pick him up though.

I second that... Reyes was awesome at Syracuse and I've seen him play quite a bit as a 'Cuse alum. That had crap for an offense.. Horrible receivers... So he was essentially the entire 'Cuse offense and did a pretty good job carrying them on his shoulders. I hope he has a shot at making the team!! :cooldude:

Also from Rochester and could not agree more.
 
He put up some HUGE numbers at syracuse except for his last year behind a horrible O line.....and crap coach.

He was one the nation's top backs in 2004 when he ran for over 1400 yds and scored 20 TDs. Had problems with injuries his senior year so that may have been a reason he went undrafted. Ran a little slower (4.53) at the Combine than hoped.
 
reyes is complete garbage, always has been. there was a bunch of people on this board in love with him before the draft.

While I don't think he is an NFL player or will make the Fins team. I wouldn't call him "complete garbage". 2nd all time leading rusher at Syracuse. A school that has produced

Jim Brown
Larry Csonka
Floyd Little
Ernie Davis
Joe Morris

Got a little company there and to be the 2nd all time leading rusher there says something.
