I wouldn't say winners, maybe mediocrity sounds awesome after a 1-15 season but at the time i think i remember feeling frustration. Yeh like Ricky Williams running 228 yds against Buffalo and we STILL LOST. Well at least we get to watch us turn this thing around- gotta go to hell before you get to heaven right?

the defenses carried the wannstedt teams. ricky was just the only good offensive player (just about). we had tons of pro bowlers on defense those years.
