Wannstadt's problem

The problem with Coach Wannstadt is that he cannot adjust to the players he has. Remember all the injuries the Pats had last year. Belicheck would adjust his game plan to the players he had. Wanny only knows one way to play. Run, Run, Short pass. Field Goal. Now Defense hold them. This team has 2 very talented wide recievers. A very good tight-end. A QB if he will play him that has a strong arm. A fullback when he gets back, in Konrad that can run after the catch. Also a halfback with Gordon who can catch the ball. It's time to use the strengths this team has. We don't have to abandon the run. But we are too predictable. It's time to open up this offense. The results of yesterday call for it.

Exactly right, and to be able to adjust, one has to be flexible. One cannot be flexible if one is anxious. DW is anxious in general, always has been, and now he's even MORE so because his job's on the line. So he's going with what he knows best to diminish his anxiety instead of doing what's best for the team. People like that should not be in a leadership position in ANY capacity.

We are going to be saying this same stuff until Wannys outta here. Can't Wayne see that Wanny's just not his guy. I know it's hard to fire someone and it's great to be loyal but he's gotta go.

I don't know what he says behind closed doors to Wayne that keeps him around. I couldn't think of a good enough excuse in the world that would convince me to keep him around.
