Wannstedt said that even without Ricky Williams, he does not want the Dolphins to be a passing team, because that won't give them a chance to win.

Someone tell him that he feels this way because Fiedler has been his QB for the last 4 years... and we don't have ricky anymore.....

Yeah that was the second Half after Jay gave it away twice and we ran between the tackles in the 1st.

i picked up on his comment that he does not believe in throwing the ball" yesterday during the post game press conference, and posted my frustrations about it in another thread, it is maddening...

to summarize, i believe that currently the playmakers on Miami's offense are Chambers and McMike, both rececivers. Gordon has got a shot to be very productive, but he is brand new to the team and offense (which is why i didnt include Booker as a playmaker yet as well). to me, it takes a blind man to not see that and try something different.

I happen to agree with him. If we cannot find a rushing attack we're not going any where, period. His football philosophy is sound and has won many other teams titles recently.

The only thing I think Wanny has to adjust is how often he wants to rush the ball. But to want to rush the ball with the type of D we have is a very sound thing to want to do IMO.

He is right. We have an OLD defense. If we pass on a 60-40 or 70-30 ratio.......we are toast. Our defense will be on the field all day. We don't have a great QB or even great WR's.

We need to mix it up. We need to GIMMICK it up. When you don't have the horses, you need to out-think your oppenents. Try a gimmick play or two. Something to "generate" points.

But we can't just get in a shot-gun and throw it all day long, if we do that we are done. We probably need to pass it slightly more than Dave wants, but we do need to run the football.

We don't have an old defense. Most guys are 30 or under. Wanny needs to stop being an idiot. I understand balance but you also have to play to your strengths. Yes, we need to run but we also need to stretch the field to open up the run. If we run every friggin down it really won't be very hard to stop. Wanny is just plain stupid. I very much want him to be successful but he keeps proving to me that he is stupid. Let's just hope that he understands offensive balance.
