When asked about next weeks starting QB Wanny said: "I'll have to look at the tape and sleep on it..." HUH?? Why can't this moron see what everyone else sees? Does he live in some kind of alternate reality? I predict he will start Jay Fiedler next week "because he gives us the best chance to win" and "I trust him to play better next week."

It's killing me!!

Because that is the way it should be done. Many times I have reviewed a game on tape and have been surprised about what I thought happened. The tape doesn't lie... and reviewing and making the decision is professional.

It is better to be deliberate and methodical rather than emotional. It's likely that he will come to the obvious conclusion. But, it is respectful to go through the standard process of evaluation.

I doubt that. After reviewing the tape...it is clearly not killing you. You are just being dramatic to emphasize your point.

I dont think Wanny would just tell the media that Feeley would start because that would of been unfair. But when he said he will sleep on it that makes things like unfair to both of the QB. Dont worry Feeley will start next week and he will do good, cause with Fiedler we arent that good.

A.J. will start and finish the game and the season. It's over for the ineffective Fiedler. Get a clipbiard.

Being non-committal today was the right move for Wannstedt. If you announce a post-game permanent change of starters because of the #2 guy's great performance, that is one thing. But if you come out and do that because the #1 guy stunk it up, you are telling the world that you blame him for the loss and you burn your bridges to him for the rest of the year.

Bull. No drama, just pure fact.
The entire world could see how pathetic Fiedler is. It's not "emotion" that is making us all see that...it is pure fact. His throws sucked....and of course have for four years. He threw into triple coverage for God sakes. I'm not saying Feeley is the second coming or anything, but Fiedler shouldn't even be here this year...let alone be "considered" for a start next week.
I guess what Wanny really meant was "I will see how much Jay blowz me during the week before I decide."

I'd like to see Sage get a shot.
He cant be any worse than Jay or A.J.

He has the best seat in the house. If he needs to watch "THE TAPE" to reassure himself that Fiedler sucked today, then he needs a pair of glasses, to fire his "YES" men around him, and a new job.

I think Wanny needs to be drug tested also. I hope that he is just saying he needs to sleep on it as to not start a QB controversy. But I think we already have one since Wanny did not proclaim a clear cut starter in preseason. I think the noose is going to start to tighten .

I hope when he looks back at tape of the game, that the other coaches point out to him that #7 is Feeley.

It's like jerking off befor going out with a hot babe for the first time. they don;t want to blow their load too fast.

you know, i've laid off of wanny b/c he has a tough job, but his handling of the qb situation has been horrible. why the quick leash on jay? and why put aj into a 'save us' situation? he should have picked either jay or aj and re-evaluate after the game, not during. for the opener, pick one guy and stick with him. the team didn't get ahy type of rythym going until the game was over.

This is the problem. It's a lose-lose situation. Wanny sticks with Jay in the game, fans are pissed. Wanny switches to AJ, fans are pissed.
