What Wanny said about Sage..." Sage Rosenfels is going to be a heck of a player, but he has no experience. I want a guy who has had game experience and has had some success, some one who can go in and MANAGE a game." This was taken from the June 2003 Dolphin digest. How about them apples?

With Tebucky out for the year, I think we should move Sage to SS. He knows how QBs think, so I think he'd have an advantage in coverage.

Saban is saying the same thing now that Wanny said....thats what Wanny knows. The simple point is....they all want a QB to have NFL experience....but they won't give Sage the chance to get that experience...what a JOKE!!

No, Zack is doing quite well at MLB for us this year.

I thought Bell had a decent game, but I don't think he's going to be that effective in coverage. We need someone back there that can really get in the QB's head and know what he's thinking.

I agree. Also, if madison is out this week maybe we can move David Boston to Cornerback. We arent using him enough in the passing game and it worked for the patriots with Troy Brown

sage can really lay the wood to people, as well. remember the preseason game a few years ago where he took out a saints' player?
 
It's not like Sage has been trying to displace Brett Favre........he has been up against the likes of Jay Fiedler, Brian Griese, AJ Feeley and Gus Frerrotte.

He has not played because he hasn't proven that he is any better than those extremely average (to be kind) QB's.

He is playing for coaches who all are/were getting paid to win.....they would play the best players to do that. He hasn't been up against any kind of discrimination as some of you would suggest. He's the backup because he's not as good as the starter.

People b*tched that they wanted Huard, then Lucas, then Griese, then AJ, now Sage......none of those were any better than the guy in front of them, but you still swear that somehow, Sage will be???? If the guy had all of the talent that some of you swear that he does.......he'd be playing already....but the coaches obviously don't see it.

How do you prove you can play...if they don't let you play in a real NFL game? As far as the coach's....do you think they saw that TD to Chambers...that Gus couldn't make all game?

Man its not joke...the joke is on you because you refuse to swallow the bitter pill that Sage is NOT good enough.

Instead you and those who agree with you would like Saban to go against his better judgement and throw poor Sage to the wolves just to prove something he and Wanny already know.
