The Heat is missing one piece for the rotation.....a three point specialist....

Anybody got an idea?

I can't think a single one that is out there to be had.

He fit the Bill?

I think they're expecting to rely on Walker's three point shot. Don't know what I think of that.

Jason Kapono
Casey Jacobsen
Darius Rice
Latrell Sprewell

Sprewell and Walker on the same team. LOL, yeah that would work. Would Shaq even be able to touch the ball with those 2 hogs! :rofl3: I don't see that working out. Maybe one of the other 3 guys, but not Spree.

i don't want Spre but his name came up i doubt they will get him Darius Rice is pretty good not sure who else is out there

I'll trade you my Sixer's guard Kyle Korver for Dwyane Wade.

Of the names mentioned:

- Latrell is a slasher not a shooter.

- Kapono is a restricted free agent and couldn't get much playing time in Charlotte of all places. I doubt he'd make a valuable contribution to the Heat. I'd rather see the athletic Gerald Wallace come to Miami instead of Kapono. Sure Wallace isn't a pure shooter but he would bring energy and hops off the bench.

- I havn't seen Jacobsen or Darius Rice play.

Conclusion: Miami should look at Gerald Wallace, Willie Green or Ronald Murray.

Jacobsen can shoot. If he's out there you could do much worse. That said, it seems like the Heat already have more swingmen than they can find playing time for, so it may be a moot point.

Miami just signed Kapono to an offer sheet. Good move IMO. Go to realgm if you want to read about it.
