Wanted Troy smith with some ginn stuff

I really think he is a very good qb and he has the potential to be a good starter in this leauge. He also has a connection with ginn. Im happy with thigpen he is a mobile qb with a big arm.

everyone needs to get off ginn's back,
he had cleo lemon and pennington throwing to him. did the jets ever have a standout wr ? maybe l coles? anyone notice how much better those same recievers did with farve? an he missed a td pass or two.. relax every reciever does. no one has an off game right? hmm maybe he would have made up for those two if he didnt get overthrown by p white and pennington in game 1 and 3. myabe he is not a pure number 1 but hes not as horribel as you guys make him out to be.

The Dolphins just traded for Thigpen enough of this nonsense. Why would the Ravens part with Smith? If they did that then Johnny Fumbles would be Flacco's backup, and I don't wish that disease on the Ravens.

I really agree, and didn't really think about it. I dont think people realize that if not for a case of the flu, Troy Smith would have been the starter in baltimore, and I think would still be. Obviously after Flaccos play, you cant put Smith in, but Troy Smith can play.

I really agree, and didn't really think about it. I dont think people realize that if not for a case of the flu, Troy Smith would have been the starter in baltimore, and I think would still be. Obviously after Flaccos play, you cant put Smith in, but Troy Smith can play.

Troy smith was incredible in college but he is not an NFL starter. He could probably play on a team with a super defense but not this team

He beat out Flacco for the starting job....then got the flu before the first reg season game. He was lights out in the preseason playing against NFL players. I'm cool with who we got, just think Smith is severely underrated as an NFL QB. Some team will eventually find out if he ever gets out of Baltimore.

He might have beat out Flacco at that time but Flacco was only a rookie and was going to be the better QB in the future. He already is now. He throws one of the best deep balls today and has a cannon.

I think Ginn needs more time to become a decent WR in this league but please don't blame the QB for all his drops, being under thrown there's nothing GINN

I think Ginn needs more time to become a decent WR in this league but please don't blame the QB for all his drops, being under thrown or over thrown there's nothing GINN can do, the ball hitting his hands is all on him no matter the QB throwing the ball.
