It is an absolute joke that CBS selected somebody in the Bills ring of honor to be an announcer during the game yesterday. The guy was completely biased and openely celebrated every good play by the Bills. I felt like I was watching Verne Lundqvist talk about Tebow the entire game. It was a complete joke listening to him the whole game. The first rule of his job is to be unbiased and he took homerism to an extreme yesterday. If he wants to root for the bills so bad during games, he should apply to be their radio guy

I didn't hear that at all. Thought the opposite actually, that Tasker was complimentary of the phins throughout.

losing to a CFL team and THAT made you sick?

ok

obviously the loss pissed me off. but when im fuming that we just let T.O. blow by us to seal the game and the announcer is cheering like a drunken fan in the stands, it really pissed me off. As somebody who worked in sports media, there is nothing more taboo than allowing your inner fan to be that obvious while working.

I didn't get a chance to see the game live yesterday, but as I caught the highlights on nfl.com (not the radio calls), I got the same feeling. What was the broadcast team doing the game yesterday anyway? That call during the TO touchdown sounded rather...festive.

i was thinking the same thing

that guy literally laughed in excitement when TO got the game changing TD

one of the two announcers is a member of the Bills ring of honor. While he would compliment the fins after good plays, every time the bills would do anything good, it sounded like Manditch, Ceffalo, and Rose did during the Camarillo play.

Gus Johnson would have been freaking out and screaming at the top of his lungs if we made a big play near the end. Tasker might be a little biased, but that's understandable. Both were leagues ahead of Dierdorf, that's for sure. One thing I do like about Dierdorf is his extreme mancrush on Jake Long.

Tasker was cheering his Bills un-ashamedly for most of the game, but the 4th quarter was really bad.

1. he was not a little biased, he was VERY biased. if it was a little bit, I would have just put it in the same light as John Madden's crush on brett favre

2. it is not understandable. He is paid to do a job and remain neutral and he failed miserably. Like I said earlier, I used to be in the business and during my senior year of high school I had to work the STA vs Lakeland 5a state finals game in December of 2006. I was a senior at STA during the time and during that game had an incredibly difficult time of holding my emotions in check during the comeback and after we lost in 2OT and then had to interview some of my best friends with a straight face after they just had their hearts broken. Not to toot my own horn, but if a HS senior with 1 year of experience in the media can internalize his bias during a situation like that, then a veteran member of the media can remain neutral during a game between two rivals that were both unlikely to make the playoffs.
Im sorry but his actions yesterday were unexcusable, and any media outlet with ANY integrity would suspend him or at the least, not allow him to cover a bills game until he proves he can remain professional

I don't even care about Steve. The other guy was just getting everyone's name completely wrong. It was terrible.

Gus Johnson was having orgasms every time the bills got positive yardage. :boohoo:

Wait you mean you guys didn't like seeing Taskers name on the Ring Of Honor? Only to hear him say he was not worthy, then to have the other guy stroke his ego! God I threw up in my mouth ALOT!!!!!

At the end when the Bill's made an interception, Steve Tasker screemed. The second interception he was sreeming so much that I turned off my TV.

Nauseating is right..
