Practice Squad
He was on the NFL networks top 10 bust list, but I don't know how I feel about that. He didn't play up to all the hype, but I don't think he was a total bust either. Thoughts?

I've always thought that iof your football career was derailed because of injuries then the word "bust" should not apply.
Boz was off to a decent start but had artritic shoulders causing him to reitre early.

Yea, some 25 surgeries...
he was a player...
plus, people make a huge deal of the Bo Jackson thing...
Jerome's trucking of Urlacher was much more physically dominating.
He hit Bo a little high near the goal line, and they both fell into the endzone.
that happens 8 out of 10 times in the NFL.

I'll always remember him for his haircut and Bo Jackson running over him in a goal line situation.

I think Bosworth was a "flop" in that his pro career never, ever came within a light year of matching the hype that surrounded him. He's been out of football for more than 16 years, but most football fans over the age of 35 recognize his name -- and any number of nonfans over 35, too.

Though he was before my time, I think Boz was an awesome player. I have a few college tapes of OU from back then and he was unbelievable.

He was not a bust as far as I'm concerned. You can't hold the injuries against him, and you don't make every tackle. Sometimes you are not in position-it happens. People make way too much of the Bo Jackson play, way to much.

I agree. I'm a fan of him because of the longest yard, and as said, you can't hold injuries against him.

Injuries don't make a player a bust.
Boz was a steroid machine which it is believed contributed to his injuries that ended his career. he was never a good player and was completely overhyped. he was the definition of bust.
