I never did understand why they gave up a second rounder for a 3rd stringer.

Just think...

Miami could've had Kerry Colins, Kurt Warner, or Jeff Garcia and kept all their picks.

But they chose to trade a second rounder for an unproven career backup. A 3rd string quarterback who never even started in college.

In terms of one sided deals, this one ranks up there with the worst of them.

kerry collins would be sexy, but he also would have no time to throw behind this line

I will never understand why we didnt go after COllins, awful decision. Isnt the idea to upgrade the team. Speilman should be fired for this alone.

the worst trade ever has to be hershel walker to the cowboys for three superbowls. The Feeley trade isnt even in the ball park of all time busts.

Well, this post "ranks up there with the worst of them"...

Give the him some time.. I don't care who you put back there... This line gives him no time to think, other than "ouch" "oh **** - more unblocked defenders". I also know it's not all the lines fault, but give him and his line some time before YOU "rank"

BTW, He was the starter at Oregon. He got hurt and Joey was playing too good for them to give AJ his job back.

Garcia sucks, Kerry is a back up and Warner is getting old. So ah, no it was far from the worst trade ever.

Brittle Jeff would have lasted *scratches head* a split nanosecond behind this line before he was gone for the year.

im tellin u look at matt hasselbeck if u remember he was booed like no other by seahawks fans now look at him he want the ball and hes gonna score. (but unlike feeley its not with heather mitts)

Probably because no one knew he would be released and probably because of the salary cap.
