Brohm and Henne were picked 1,2 right together, do you guys think Henne was our first choice or did we panic when Green Bay grabbed Brohm.

I think Henne was their Number one choice. Its been a pretty poorly kept secret that Parcells wanted Henne.

Miami never showed interest in Brohm, so yes, Henne was the first choice. In fact, a few of the local newspapers are reporting that the Miami draft room burst into celebration after Brohm was selected by Green Bay. They figured they would take a QB, but didn't know if the Packers would go with Brohm or Henne. Luckly, they went with Brohm and we got our guy.
just to add on Nublar, when Ireland/SParano/Parcells met with Jake, they also took Chad and Manningham with them to dinner so Mario might be an option.
On a personal note Nubs, what if we take Connor or King tommarow? We'll have 1 OSU guy, 1 ND Guy,2 Michigan guys, and 1 PSU guy as building blocks for our team... interesting dynamics huh?
