J. Allen hasnt hit the field yet..not even in dime packages....he cant get a spot at CB in dime or nickel? was this the right pick? ...i really hope he gets on the field soon, but im a little worried...

Because of that reason we dont know yet buddy. Saban aint throwing him in there...Which is driving me mad!

To be completely honest, I wanted Manny Lawson with our 16th last draft. Having said that however, you have to give a player at least 2 full seasons before you can label him as a success or a bust, so lets wait and see.

he didn't say he was a bust... he asked if Allen was the right pick.

patience, we'll see him in the second half of the season. i think after the by week

Agreed.

It's too early to tell if Allen will be a bust or not, but I expect a first round pick to be ready to play by opening day.

my thoughts EXACTLY.
 
I wanted to see them draft DeAngelo Williams. He is a playmaker and could of shared some of the carries with Brown and added some spark, plus he is a good kickoff and punt returner. Miami has been short of playmakers on the offense for the past 8 years or so.

He obviously was not. I don't expect a rookie to step right in and start and be a competent pro, but I do expect him to play and contribute if he's a first round pick. Allen was a wasted pick, a Wannstedt Special.
