And I came across this one of Ginn returning a kickoff for a TD (It was probably called back though)

But MAN, talk about speed! I could probably only count on one hand how many guys would have been able to just flat out burn those 3 guys at the end like he did. Its amazing how fast he really gets when he's been running for 20-30 yards, it really kicks up then.

Now, just imagine the day we'll see him run a streak, and Chad Henne throws it over the top and Ginn catches it and keeps running for the TD. That will be a great day.

The dude can haul, no doubt about it. My preference for the 1st rd pick is OL, but if Harvin is there... Most disagree with that, but both of them could be lethal. Ginn is a strider and wicked fast- Harvin is even faster and has way, way more quicks. For all the talk of his size, he's 5-11, 200 lbs. and can bench over 400 lbs. Not bad. He'll wow them at the combine for sure.

I'd say get him if he somehow drops to the 3rd or 4th round. If we don't get him though, I'm still confident that Bess can play a big role in that next year

Ahhh the good ol' days when he actually returned kickoffs. Man I used to get excited about kickoffs and punts because Ginn had a chance to house em. Now I just pray Cobbs and Bess don't fumble on returns...

He would have still been returning them if he would have stopped running for the sidelines, hopefully Sparano will fix that this offseason and he'll be back on kickoffs

If he could put on some more weight I could be happy with that. He is basically a mini Brian Westbrook, which would be crazy to have out there. He is more accurately described as an offensive weapon than just a receiver or running back. Unfortunately, he has a similar injury history to Westbrook. I've heard rumors that our scouts are very high on Maclin who could be an option if he falls to us, but as of right now I don't see that happening.

WR is not only about speed. If that's the case, any Olympic sprinter is a great receiver.

Parcells used to talk about football speed, WRs need to run perfect routes, have great hands, can read/react to the defense. In this offense, he also needs to do the little things, like blocking down field.

Guys running sub 4 sec. in the combine desn't mean he's a great receiver.

I love the announcers "WOW" after he just cruises past those last 3 defenders. It was definitely a screaming WOW worthy moment.

Um, right. I was just making this thread to showcase his speed, and for some reason you're trying to turn it into a thread with the topic " Ted Ginn is the greatest wide receiver in the world because he's fast " and trying to provide facts against that.

Anyways, was Harvin around Ginn's size before he buffed up? If so, I'd say Ginn needs to find a similar workout and get to to it! I honestly think he wouldn't lose any speed doing so .. and he may even get faster, because he'll have more power to be explosive out of his routes and such
