Was RW To The G-Men Just a Rumor?

Yesterday, rotoworld was reporting that McQuarters signed with the Giants, but the source was a little "iffy" (i think insidesports.com, or something of that nature) And now this morning, KFFL has a little snippet that the Redskins are still in contact with RW and he should decide in the next few days.

Did rotoworld report something prematurely, or is KFFL just behind?

The Giants are hot for him mainly for his punt returns. They want to sure that up. Plus Allen is in his last year of his contract.

So it would not surprise me. Plus the Giants Special teams coach was his coach when he had his best return year with the bears, so makes sence.

Right, Im not saying he isnt a good fit there, but I havent seen his signing ANYWHERE, even on NFL Network's Total Access, in which they often go over all of the news from that day, including more minor signings then this one.
