We never really got official word on what the conditions of the McKinnie draft pick were. I was doing some searching and came across his article from February. If this site is to believed, the pick was a conditional 2015 and not a conditional 2014. That would mean Miami has all 7 draft picks this season, and quite possibly the Martin and McKinnie picks will cancel each other out in 2015.

McKinnie is a free agent, so the part about his play in 2014 would likely be incorrect.
Russell Street Report has also learned from the same team source that the conditional draft pick due from the Miami Dolphins for the trade of OT Bryant McKinnie is actually a conditional pick in the 2015 draft. The stipulations of the conditional pick were not disclosed, but it would appear that McKinnie’s play in 2014 may also factor into which round that choice will ultimately fall in.
