Just a ploy to reduce any bad outcome with the league in terms of player discipline surrounding his family issues in the offseason? Now before someone gets sand in their vagina, I'm not accusing him of anything or making light of his diagnosis. The last I heard and it may be finalized was that the players were pushing for no discipline for events occuring during the lockout. I have't heard anything since.

Also employers generally have strict rules regarding discipline for employees with documented mental conditions.

Thoughts?
 
What would he be disciplined for? Getting hurt by his wife which he says didn't happen and the DA dropped all charges on her? He didn't do anything wasn't even accused of doing anything by the police. So what in the world would the NFL punish him for?
 
Ok, thanks for that clarification. I didn't know if Marshall had anything pending against him.

Given goodell's no tolerance policy and marshall's history with his girl and the fact that he wasn't initially cooperating, I didn't know how that would be viewed by the league.
