After that astonishing victory, I'm left thinking wether I'm getting my hopes too high and that this was an aberration, or wether this team is for real. Two years ago after the Thanksgiving game were we dominated a good Dallas Cowboys team I was sure that our fortune was changing, same with Denver Broncos game of three years ago... last year after the Rams win alot of us were talking 8-8 records... but after all those wins we quickly fell back to earth... so what has changed from those teams to this team? Is the mental toughness that Saban has preached about found root? Will this win be the beginning of the Saban era to rival the Shula era? I guess only time will tell, but as a fan my heart tells me that the AFC East hasn't seen anything yet!

I don't know what you mean by legit but I would say that we caught the Broncos unawares. I don't think that Saban will let the team falter and after listening to what the players were saying after the game, they are taking it one week at a time.

You need to treat this game like Saban said. let it keep you happy for 24 hours and after that it no longer matters and our record is 0-0 again. you got 12 more hours.

A lot of big teams came out completely unprepared yesterday and were tested e.g. Green Bay, Minnesota, St. Louis

It's hard to know exactly who can do what but the league still stands true that anyone can beat anyone

Let's not talk about it and just enjoy the ride until next sunday! :D

That'swhat I'm going to do. But a little part of me is more optimistic than it would have been before the Broncos game. And another little part of me is saying, keep it in perspective. But man, am I gonna enjoy talking about this at work today!

nah....it was just one good game :) I'm prepared to be underdogs the rest of the season and actually prefer to be at this point....

Although it was only one game we did get to see some real signs of hope for the future. Our coaching overall was great. Our new Offensive Coordinator showed creativity and kept everyone guessing. There was no predictability. All those receivers who caught passes. I can't wait to see what happens when Ricky comes back and provides even more options for him.

The D showed intensity and even rookies looked well prepared.

My only concern is the lack of substantial push by our OL on run blocking. That's our weakness. I don't know if we have the talent this year to rectify that.

hopefully the passing game getting better will ease off the 8 man fronts from the last 2 years which should help and if Hudson can get the boys to work better together....the combination of those two things should hopefully allow us to start getting a decent ypc on rushing.

I dont know, I dont care. All I want this year is to take it to every team every weak and just get better, if that makes us legit, then i care.

The Dolphins are for real. My hopes are always up for Miami so there is no reason for me not to think big. If they continue the success, then we'll all be happy. If they fail to make the playoffs or only win 7 or 8 games, we'll all still be happy to know that this team is moving in the right direction. It's sort of a no-lose situation. But I truly believe that this team is the real deal. I've said it all along: This team has a solid core of talent on both sides of the ball. It isn't like we were talentless the past 5 years. We lost a few players but gained several too. No reason to believe this team can't dominate any team they play.

One good performance doesnt make a great team but im sure as hell loving this today :D

Previously arranged things meant I went out at half time got back 4 hours after the game to watch it on Sky+ (DVD recorder thingy) and was still jumping around the house at 3am UK Time when JT scored that touchdown.

My Bears and Rams m8s have turned theri phones off as they always give me abuse , great to ram it right back at them for once :D

And even better news is ive found a place in Glasgow that will show the NFL on big screens every sunday , only the normal live ones we get but its still better than watching in the house :D

Happy days :D
