Was it last year or the year before where Denver exposed flaws in our Run game that were exploited for the remainder of the year? We were pretty good against the run up until that game and after that game we were terrible. That coaching staff could not adjust to what was put on film that day and it haunted us for the remainder of the season.
My question is this, and it's more of a hypothetical question as no one really knows the answer, but will this be another one of those games where now that we've put it on film, other teams will attempt to do the same things the Ravens did and we won't have any answers, OR do you think this coaching staff is smarter\better than the previous staff and will make adjustments and corrections to not allow those issues to haunt us for the remainder of the season?
I think Gase is a smart guy, but he's not a defensive coordinator and has no experience on that side of the ball so it will be up to Vance Joseph to figure it out and not let that happen. Vance is a first year DC and is learning on the job.... I'm looking forward to seeing if he can correct the issues exposed yesterday at least enough to where we don't look as bad as we did. I got my fingers crossed.
