Yeah I'd go for that. Rg3 cost them a lot and they may just be dumb enough to trade cousins. Or **** it just draft mariota.
Dude, please, they ain't the Dolphins

I liked Cousins, Foles and Wilson in the 3rd round and on... For the sake of honesty I also really liked Weeden, who I was obviously wrong about. The one QB I really didn't like was Tannehill, and I would've been happy to have been wrong about him, but it doesn't really look like I am at this point. Honestly, Tannehill reminded me of a more athletic Mark Sanchez... And that's kinda what he is right now.
At any rate, the Redskins won't be parting with Cousins unless they are utterly, hopelessly stupid. The guy obviously fits their system perfectly, he has some real nice weapons to throw to, and it looks like with Cousins at QB they'll be able to put up serious points all year.
If we wanted to inquire about anyone, it'd be RG3. I love his talent, but he's just made of glass. No thanks.
All these qb predictions remind me of how well everyone says they do in vegas.
Washington's QB problem is that the guy they invested four 1st round picks in isn't nearly as good as their backup.
I watched that game today. Cousins played better than his numbers. He had at least 2-3 third down conversions flat DROPPED. His interception came on a play where an inexperienced receiver flubbed up and didn't turn around for a football.
Sounds like another team we know.

that is a huge hit to get rid of rg3 considering what they paid for him. But they have the best of both worlds because their other qb is on the roster. The fanbase appears to worship him though but I'm sure that is waning. Either way one of them will be gone in the offseason especially if Cousins plays an exteneded amount this year. The question is will Rg3 get his job back as he is the starter.
The RGIII situation will work itself out with Cousins play. If he is great then he would be the first Skins QB to play well in two years. If not RGIII will probably stay and Cousins will go. Either way, an effective Cousins doesn't go back to the bench. The NFL caught up to RGIII's style after his first year, guys like Cousins have been having success for 40 years.
about cousins? I don't watch Redskin football and this wouldn't be a this year thing but they are going to have to move one of them. Perhaps a stop gap until a good qb prospect could he had? My guess if he keeps playing like he is they are going to want a high pick for him. Not sure if he is the next Rex Grossman as a starter or if there is actually something there.
Cousins is better than RG3. He's not going anywhere. And if you think RG3 is better, I'd still rather have a guy that can actually play.
If cousins goes because rg3 gets his job back and performs well and we dont inquire about him, I will be insanely pissed.
