Watch Raekwon Run Down Trubisky Despite The Pick Attempt On A 3rd And 2!

Raekwon continues to improve with every game. Every week it's easier to spot his number when tackles are happening.
 
I mentioned this play the other day. Very nice reaction by raekwon
 
He's getting there. The thing to remember is when he tore his acl it was on punt coverage. He never got any in game reps last year. He was also on a pitch count in preseason this year. So while part of it was getting back physically, he had to catch up mentally as well. Games are a lot faster in the NFL and we are starting to see him read and react a lot quicker. Last Chicago TD not withstanding but I don't think that was all on him
 
Yep hes flashing while the other 2 high picks from last year Tank and Harris are disappear ing.

If RM turns out to be a good one it's still going to go down as a pretty good draft even if Harris & Tank bust. That would make it 3 good starters when you factor in the DTs

How does a 2nd year player get so bad in the same defensive scheme?

He looks worst than a rookie so far this year. He looks like he’s never played FB before.

Harris still has a good chance to be decent.
If you look at the Bengals game and some of his other games he tends to get very close to the QB.
He just has to learn how to finish the job.
He tends to have that mentality if I'm that close I have to sack this QB or else it's a TD.
On the Dalton wild throw to the RB that's exactly what happened.

Watching that though It looks like he should also credit for something else there. Right after avoiding the pick attempt he covers the only pass option Trubisky had. Once the QB commits to running then Raekwon accelerates and takes the QB down.
