Watch these two similar plays. Both were great play calls and wide open for huge gains, potentially TDs. Neither came through due to a drop and batted ball. Oh what COULD'VE been!

Those plays were there and need to be executed by the players. There’s no excuse, they get paid way too much to not make those plays.

It worked out via the great play by Minkah and the punt return but I didn't like the decision to punt there.

The 2nd play IMO should have been a run play.No doubt it was a missed catch and run but I would have run the ball right behind the Center.

Coaches always talk about execution but it doesn't always happen. But that's the Dolphins for you. We almost make the plays and we almost win. The great team actually make it work.

I browse boards of other teams frequently and one thing is common after every game. Plays that COULD have been made if player x had just caught a pass, made a tackle, turned left instead of right, . . . the list is nearly endless. I'm certain the Cincy board has people posting about how the game wouldn't have been close IF . . .
Now, I get the logic. One more score at 17-0 and the world would be different. And it's comforting to see how close 'my' team came to winning , if only . . . What I find frustrating is Miami has talent, although some won't admit it. Burke has improved. The new guys are learning. But, it wasn't long ago fans were saying 'if player x had caught that pass, we'd have just lost by 10.' Miami is getting closer. My kingdom for a fast start.
