The jags just downgraded their two best ST "gunners" to doubtful, and signed a PS guy after they put Leftwich on IR...

If there is a chance for welker to break a big one it's this week...

Leftwich had surgery Nov. 21 to clean up the area around the ankle and hoped to return this season. But the Jaguars (6-5) put him on IR and signed defensive back David Richardson from the practice squad.
Richardson could provide depth and special teams help Sunday at Miami, especially with safety Nick Sorensen (hamstring) and running back Montell Owens (shoulder) being downgraded to doubtful on the injury report Friday.
Sorensen and Owens are two of the team's top special teams players

Welker

I just don't think wes is fast enough to do it. He is shifty and runs good routes, but in the open field I think someone would catch him.

He has come close to breaking one a few games this year and if he has a chance to do it it will be this week.

If Wes can get that one extra block downfield it's 6. I swear he manages to get us to atleast the 35 nearly everytime (and half the time further).

He's scored before so there's no reason to think it can't happen again.

Welker is a beast ount returner and a good kick ruterner but there is improvment for the kickoffs but he still is reosonable.

If any of the grass on the field is a little higher then the rest and wes runs into it... he'll trip and fall. A cool breeze knocks him over. I've seen so many shoestring tackles on him.

Haha....yeah sometimes...but his biggest thing is once he's set on his way...he rarely makes many moves....he just runs as fast as those little feet will take him straight ahead....it's funny.

I'm a big fan of Wes cause he's hardcore....takes some seriously sickening hits and bounces right up. And to boot, he's improved his receiving game too!!!

Go Wes Go!

I don't agree with that at all.

Wow the ST matchups definitely favors us this week. Welker can break a long one and if the Jags give the Fins lousy coverage Wes is a threat. At the least he should be able to get a few nice returns to help with field position.
