Drew Brees has thrown 21 TD and no INT in the redzone the last 2 years. I wanted us to sign Brees so bad a couple of years ago as he would have been as close to Marino as we will ever get. He is dominant and makes crappy recievers good. Take Devrey Henderson and Lance Moore for example. He would give us the short passes and a great deep ball. Then Ronnie would blow up with defenses not being able to stack the box with Brees and his cannon and accuracy. God why do you hate the Dolphins. And me.
Here are Drew Brees stats since he signed as a Free Agent

2006 356 comp 554 att 64.3 % 4418 yds 26 TD 11 INT 96.2 rate
2007 440 comp 652 att 67.5 % 4423 yds 28 TD 18 INT 89.4 rate
2008 107 comp 148 att 72.3 % 1343 yds 8 TD 4 INT 106.9 rate

Culpepper stats
06 4games 81 comp 134 att 60.4 % 929 yds 2TD 3 INT 77%
07 OAKLAND 108 COM 186 ATT 58.1% 1331 yds 5TD 5INT 78% 7game
08 NOT playing cause he sucks and even the PATS,Chiefs, Viks wont give him a look. Way to go Miami.

he is ridiculous but saban tried everything he could to get him in miami.. he even met him at the airport when he was going to sign with NO.. just the curse of the miami dolphins that has now been broken..

Everyone except Dlockz and a few others that still sweat Culpepper and wrote manifestos about how much he blew and tried to spin it to make him sound good.
 
I despised the idea of a trade for Culpepper before it happened, when it happened and I still wish it wouldn't have happened.

However I'm over that turd now.

Let it go. Let's move on people, that's the past, just move on. But if we had Brees, we might have never had Parcell's as a GM, whose resume shows, he develops teams into championship contenders. Brees career could have been wasted at Miami, since Miami probably would have had the Saban and bad draft picks and not a team around Brees, so Miami not being a contender, which I do feel Miami will be for many years under Parcells reign.

If we got brees I think we would be stuck being a middle of the pack team for a long time. I would rather hit rock bottom and charge toward the top than putz around in the middle of the pack forever.

P.S. Brees just got owned by Winfield.

Poor Brees is being let down right now, his WRs have been dropping passes left and right, some would have been first downs that the WRS dropped, which hit them right in the chest. The last play, Drew threw it to one WR who bobbled the ball, which should have been caught, but because he couldn't catch it and bobbled it, the ball got popped up and a Vikings CB snatched the ball resulting in an interception.
 
ugghhh...not this again, we got 2 chads now
