Doesn't affect me since I'm in NC, but what about the people in the local markets ? Normally they will not broadcast a home game if it is not a sellout, will they be ignoring that rule because of the pandemic across all stadiums in the US ? I'm assuming they will show on local TV until this is over or is at least under controls then resume the blackouts.

They changed all of the rules on the sellout a while back after TB had multiple non sellouts and the fans went nuts. They televise it either way locally. But locally, is hyper locally. A couple games over here in Naples/Marco weren't on last year as CBS and FOX showed different games outside of Dade and Broward.

The owners are losing billions collectively in gate and merchandise (at games) revenue. They need as much tv as they can get. As such, I think the broadcasting piece will be the same as last year.

Great answer. Thanks @Fin-Loco !

The Raiders have failed to sell out games for years, which meant Northern Californians, whether they were Raider fans or not, only got two Sunday games. More often than not, I've been a Directv subscriber, however, so I was able to watch something.

Right and that should have stopped I believe last year. Raiders would have been available to be shown despite the non sellout but it was still up to the area to show them or something else.

I don’t care what anyone says, I’ve had the Sunday Ticket since it’s inception and it’s the greatest invention ever produced

I agree! I don’t understand how folks can be such enthusiasts they post on a fan message site every day but miss the games. I could literally never buy anything that said Miami Dolphins on it, play fantasy football or even post here but I can’t miss the games. That is the most fun part to me in this whole thing.

I cancelled my Directv service earlier in the year. After 23 yrs, it just wasn't the same after AT&T took over. The Sunday Ticket was the ONLY reason I had it anyway. I'm now saving over $100 bucks a month and that with the discounts Directv was giving me.

They got a little too ****y with me this year. So I cancelled. But the sleuth that I am, may have found some viewing alternatives via online. I'll see how that works for now.

Good Luck to all you guys, still using Directv.

I had to ditch the Sunday ticket as I’ve moved a couple times over the last couple years and just haven’t picked cable back up, but an idiot liked me has discovered how easy it is to use the browser feature on a smart tv and watch the game anyways. I’ll pick the ticket back up when we settle into a spot but an easy google search works just as good. I’ve never missed a game
