Watching the playoffs

I'd love to meet Harbaugh in real life.

He's probably a good guy, I'd still kick his face in for his constant bitching.

And the 49ers get away with 12 men in the huddle and the 12th guy ran right passed TWO refs. These refs are terrible.

unfortunately the refs made it blatantly obvious this year that games are fixed to a certain degree

I think Newton got too confident there. That just wasn't a good read. No clue what he was trying to do with that football but that's the ballgame.

That was the worst penalty I've ever seen in my entire life committed by the Panthers.

Stop the runner short on a critical third down, with 4 minutes to play and out of timeouts, what's the only thing on earth you can't possibly be stupid enough to do? Punch the guy and then push him back into the dirt to celebrate making a play. Bravo.

Jeff Ireland would be on the phone trying to trade for that guy as we speak if he were still employed here.

Still wish we had a TE like Davis and am still pissed we never got Bolden when he has been available, each time.

The Panthers badly need another receiver. Ginn and LaFell isn't going to get it done and relying on Steve Smith at his age is folly that was bound to backfire on them. It's by far the biggest problem with their team right now.

Everyone talks about the 49ers front seven and their offensive line, but that team has some top talent at the skill positions. Crabtree, Boldin and Davis are as dangerous a combo that's left in the playoffs and Quinton Patton looks like a keeper, too. I argued up and down last year that we should take him. No dice. He absolutely torched our own Will Davis. Had 11 catches for 180 yards, mostly on Davis' coverage. I looked at that game and didn't think Davis was particularly draftable. Ireland looked at that and saw a receiver he didn't want and a corner he did want. :bobdole:

Anyway, the Panthers are built from the inside out, which tells me they'll still be a force next year. They're just young, like the Seahawks were last year. Tons of talent and tons of passion but they need to keep their brains inside their heads. If I was Rivera I'd have that Josh Thomas kid executed in front of the entire team.
