Way too early - But how did #43 Perez look?

I finally caught the replay on my DVR last night and was wondering about what some of you thought of San Diego's own Jose Perez Jr? I think statistically, he had one solo tackle, but looking at some of the highlights, he was hip to hip with most of the receivers.

Was anyone else at the game or had different camera angles and had any opinions on how he played? I was a fan of him knowing the situation after the last INT to sit down and not risk a fumble (ala Marlon McCree and the Chargers vs. Patriots). Besides one article and a couple of mentions from the coach about his range and speed, anyone else here more? Would love your opinions.

Did not see much of him to be honest. I think as camp goes by he is going to have to make the team on special teams.

He had one really good coverage play on a 9 route with no help over the top. He could be a practice squad guy.

Didn't really flash to me but to be honest i wasn't looking for him. Id assume with the depth on this team he is most likely looking at trying to play well to get some tape out there so maybe he can land on someones team or practice squad. I don't see Him making our 53 just looking at the DBs on our team but we shall see.

I think he is worthy of the practice squad at this time.
