You know how the say the blame should be placed at the top of the organization when things are going wrong, well I think that is the case with the Dolphins. I don't think Wayne puts enough pressure on the guys below him to put a competitive team on the field. He needs to more like a Jerry Jones. Jerry Jones will not put up with losing. He has his hand in the draft and everything. I know that is why Wayne is easy to work for, he keeps his nose out of the football side, but that may be the problem. He already sold 50% of the team. Maybe we need an entire new owner in here who will hold his employees to a higher standard and expect us to win, and not just hope we win.

I agree about Wayne but becareful what you wish for.

I agree this is Wayne's fault but he shouldn't be getting involved with the football side. The problem is that he's hired some really incompetent people.

I have a feeling Ross will move the team.. :(

If he does, I literally will be depressed the rest of my life. I love this team so much. I've gone through hell with this team but everyday I wake up, I root for this team. I have to much passion for this team and so does my wife! Everything in our house is Dolphins, I have my own room with everything Dolphins. Please God dont let me be thinking right!

If that happens, then all 37 fans that show up in support of the dolphins at home games can look around at all the empty seats and know why....

How much does the other owner know about football? Is he like a football wiz or someone who just wants a team?

Wayne is one of the best owners in the league. When Shula was getting long in the tooth, he got Jimmy - who had won 2 Superbowls and was the top coaching candidate around at the time. It made sense to continue with Wannstedt. He got rid of him, Saban again was the top prospect around - he went out and got him. When Satan screwed us, he got Cam - after interviewing a ton of people. Lots of us were excited at the time. After last years debacle he tried getting Parcells to coach, be GM, and Bill finally agreed to be VP. Wayne always went out and got what was perceived to be one of the top, if not the top, guy around when the coaching vacancy occurred. He did not care that he had signed Cam to a contract the year before - told Bill do what you need to do. When Saban wanted 25 assistant coaches, Wayne signed all the checks. Wayne has continually tried to put a winner on the field, and money has never been a problem. You cannot blame the Dolphins problems on Wayne and I think we will be sorry when he is gone.

Why would he? He was born in Florida and grew up a Dolphins fan. I think he would be the last person to move them. Also, lets not forget that he is inheriting a stadium that is in the process of getting a major face lift.

First of all, The NFL would never let that happen. Also, why would he? With parking near $30 a car and how expensive seats, food, drinks, souveniers, etc. are, I'm sure the Dolphins (regardless of being good or bad) rake in money. I've yet to go to a game and seen many empty seats! We will get better, just don't know when.

I've heard that many people "in the know" (whatever that means) think Ross will be a Jerry Jones type owner. Whether or not that is a good thing remains to be seen, but it may be interesting if true.

Wayne hasn't been a bad owner, if anything his only set back is since he isn't particularly football knowledgeable he hires whoever he thinks is, which as we've seen isn't always the best option. Also I feel like once and a while he could stand to buy an expensive vet or two, but that's really at the mercy of the FO staff, I'm sure if they wanted it Wayne would sign the check so thats a minor gripe.

I for one am not going to put hte blame on Wayne.. .the only owner I know that might have a chance of being better would be Mark Cuban
