He is the wrong owner for such a proud and storied franchise like the Dolphins. How could he just stand by over the last few seasons and watch what his favorite son (DW) has done to this team. Sure owners like Snyder and Jones are an irritation to their coaches its only because they want to do what ever it takes for their teams to be winners. And for the most part they have turned those teams around. While Wayne has let this team continue to spiral out of control. What makes it worse for the Dolphins is that because of such stupid and uninformed decisions that this Mgmt. has made even if we go 0 and 16 we wont even have the luxury of the draft picks that the other sucko teams in the league have had in the past. Im sorry Dolphin Fans but I see no relief any time soon for our misery. So start a tab and pray.

Just another broken hearted fan.

Completely disagree. How can you hold Huizenga responsible for all of the bad things that have happened this off season. Huizenga has given the Dolphins everything they need. He's not a football man, and he's said just as much. He's a business man. You may not agree with giving DW another year, but he looked at the situation and saw that there wasn't an UPGRADE available. Huizenga is one of the better owners in this league. You want to talk about bad owners, look at Bidwell in Arizona or yes, even Davis in Oakland. What we have in Huizenga IMO is the best situation: an owner who is also a fan. This team is one of the very few teams who constantly makes it to the playoffs. THey have fallen off the last two years, but it's not because of Huizenga. When your star, franchise RB quits on you the day before training camp starts, you have to regroup. He haven't done that yet. Huizenga always gives the staff what they want money wise and that's the extent of what an owner can contribute.

How?

Wayne does what an owner is supposed to do. Sign the checks and keep his nose out of the football aspects.

Exactly.

Welcome to the blame war. The fact is that Wayne's only mistake here was keeping Wanny. However, in waynes defense, there were not a lot of better coaches out there. Now next year, we will be armed with a new coach, a top 15 pick, Chambers, Boston, Booker, McM, and a good secondary and Deep LBing. We'll need help in the O line and Offensive backfield. Wayne will pay to keep this team on top if he can.

Huizenga can be held accountable for all the bad things that have happened because he allowed "The Dave and Rick Show" to continue a year after it should have been cancelled. Huizenga knows nothing about football and has even said so. He claimed to be a Marlins fan and then absolutely gutted that team. Wayne is a scumbag that should stick to trash and used cars.

two owners that are worse...Snyder and Jones.
I can not stand Jerry Jones. STAY IN THE BOOTH!!!!! I hate when he's on the sideline.

Brown, the owner of the Bengals and the owner of the Cardinals. Two owners who were in danger of having their teams taken away from them due to their horrible ownership.

Wayne H does seem to be out of touch with reality. So does Jones.I laugh at the claim they have not received any letters or complaints from disafected fans.Maybe they are not getting the letters which is a different matter.

He is not the worst owner by far but it does seem to me he listens to the wrong advisors.

BTW I dont fault WH for dismantling the Marlins. He gave it the best shot he could ,gave the city a championship .He just came to the conclusion that the city was not going to support the team enough to justify the investment.

The biggest misatke Huizenga has made is knowing nothing about football and not having a guy who DOES overseeing the organization. He tried to get one with Marino, but we still don't have one. I mean if Marino's position was so important, why hasn't he filled it yet?

Over the last 10 years the dolphins have one of the best winning percetages in all of sports. Two bad games and all of a sudden Hueizinga is a bad owner. give me a break!!!!!!!!

I can't think of a better owner then Wayne. Hes succesfull, he keeps his nose out, and doesn't throw money around like its nothing. He is willing to pay big, but he pays smart so that he doesn't screw the organization. I cheer for wayne, I just wish he'd fire the coach already!!!!

Okay, lets go over this one more time--Wannstedt was the GM last year, not Rick Spielman. It's been documented that Rick wanted Boldin over Eddie Moore. Dave had the final say in all personell decisions. Stop bashing Rick, he's not a miracle worker, just a damn good GM. Watch, you'll see.
