I know its only first pre season and Daniels didnt suit up but pray that Allen (No1 pick) will deservedly start at least at Safety because i believe our DB's will be our weakness this season. Poole being cut due to his knee doesnt help. We draft CB next season. Guarantee it. You dont lose Surtain and Madison within 2 seasons and dont feel it. We havnt got the players to replace them (Daniels is still learning) so expect a high pick at CB next season. Weve been spoilt at CB for a many yrs now with Pat and Sam so expect a backlash with them gone.
 
Come on dude, it's one pre-season game. Did you see the first quarter when all the starters were in? Two 3 and outs and an interception. That's the part of the game I'm looking at as the most important.

It's great isn't it? I love the game threads because Chambers will drop a pass and everyone will be calling for his head. Then the next play, he goes for a 50 yard one handed catch and he is then mayor of Miami. I love it! :lol:
 
Why don't you guys stop being so critical and be a little constructive.

Our DBs haven't played well today but I have confidence in the system and in our staff to get them positioned for success this season. We still have plenty of time.
 
I don't think we can draw any definite conclusions about the secondary from the first preseason game...however I have my hunch that the secondary will still struggle a bit this year.

You have to remember it's completely rebuilt and I just don't see them dominating. More than likely our secondary will not be the eyesore it was last year, meaning it won't lose us games, but it won't win them either. I think the run defense may be something special though.
 
The Dolphins fiorst string offense and defense toasted The Jaguars first string defense and offense.. The Jaguars offense couldnt move the ball against our starters so they had to leave Leftwich in against our second stringers becasue there first string offense couldnt move the ball against our starters. Saban said it at halftime.. Nuff said.
