It's pretty silly actually, but simple. I think we can all agree on these 9 things

1 We all want Henne to become a beast. Take that to the bank because it's a fact
2 At least 80% of us do not think Henne will ever be good enough to win a superbowl. Some hold on to more hope than others. even if the percentage is less we all agree that the majority thinks that.
3 No one really thinks he can become a franchise QB. Maybe 10% or so I would gues
4 We all think he stares down his receivers
5 We all think he is a good guy and has good work ethic
6 We all think he did everything he could during the offseason to become better
7 We all know that a percentage of his failures are because of Dan Henning
8 We all know that a percentage of his failures are because of the running game/o-line last year
9 We will all cheer for Henne while he is on the field because we are dolphins fans. Some might hate him or wish we had some one else but we all want miami to win the game we are watching and that means cheering for Henne regardless of our hate.

Is there really anyone that disagrees with any of these? Maybe you can nitpick about the slight details or wording about one of them but really I think that almost everyone agrees with all of these. I really don't see why people are taking shots at other peoples fandom. Everyone on this site is a pretty big fan or they would not be here. We all want our team to get over the hump. we all want a franchise QB.......SO WHY ARE WE ARGUING ABOUT HENNE WHEN WE PRETTY MUCH AGREE ????Does anyone think I am wrong here? If so what do you not agree with?

Why are you starting another Henne thread?

Oh yeah, don't make up statistics to make your point. 80%? Was this a gallup poll?

80% as stated was just a guideline and could be lower than that. This is intended to be like a Henne thread to end a lot of Henne threads. Furthermore you are just proving my point. You didn't disagree with anything I said but went against the grain anyways just for the sake of arguing.

was there anything at all you disagreed with? I'm just gonna assume you didn't like the thread for the simple fact that there was nothing to argue about, witch is the whole point

on both a Denver post and major forum poll - 90% of their fans who've seen him up close and personal want Orton gone.. I'd have thought the ratio would be the same but the consensus is actually higher.. go figure :idk:

You're quite right, although I do believe there are some people that want him to fail because he's not their guy. Same as some people will wave his problems away because he's their guy.

There's very little objectivity in this board, I'm glad you show it.

not exactly sure what you are trying to say.....What does Orton have to do with the post.

Because of those 80% you chose 80% of those wanted Orton to replace Henne but 90% of their fans wanted us to get Orton to replace Henne.

No so much for the sake of arguing but to make a point.

Which is, what is the point of starting new threads on beaten-to-death subjects. I get what your intent is but this thread is going to turn into another us vs. them argument where I'm sure some very clever poster will add Henne Sucks to elevate the conversation.

This is intended to be like a Henne thread to end a lot of Henne threads.

It's not going to happen. There are some people here who are hell-bent on being the loudest idiots in the room.

To sum up your list, I agree and disagree.

I'm not going to jump to any conclusions until the season starts. I want to see how he does with the new offense. Was the problem last season the coaches (Henning) or the player. Will the potential that a lot of us saw in 2009 return or was the 2010 season the sum of Henne's talent. I don't think he is the greatest QB every but I don't think he was 100% responsible for the crap offense that we saw last season. Poor game decisions by the OC probably cost the team more games than any of the bone-headed things Henne did on the field.

As far as Superbowls go, I don't think Henne is any worse than Sanchez and despite his poor play the Jets have been to the AFC Championship twice so anything is possible.

just perspective for those still holding out hope that Ireland will let Elway bend him over. What it boils down to is that our fan base is no smarter (or dumber) than Denver's.

In my opinion....

1) Those who think Henne is not capable of ever getting better won't acknowledge that the talent around him has been suspect, the OC was screwy and the kid's head is blucked because they've gone major public to get a replacement for him.... They also seem to think that because he's not a Dan Marino or John Elway, he has no chance of taking this franchise to the next level.
2) Those who think Henne still can be a good QB won't admit that his shortcomings are things that are intangible moreso than tangible and that he can learn those things. When it is brought up that there was no running game, or Henning was one card short of a deck or that the WRs aren't good enough or there is no TE to speak of, it's considered 'making excuses' for him.

Both are right...both are wrong. Neither is willing to give in... The real problem is that Henne will never get a fair shake by the fans...

I see a ton of posts about how everything Chad Henne does wrong cannot be learned or taught and he will never get better... So no, I don't agree with what some people think about him.

"He locks on receivers still! This can never be improved! Chad Henne will never ever improve!" (what?)
"He's completely immobile and this can never improve!" (which is funny because he already did improve on this)
"His deep ball accuracy is sooo bad and this can never improve!" (WHAT?)
"He makes bad decisions and this can never improve!" (not sure if serious...)
