We still have 11 games to go. In all professional sports (NFL, NHL, MLB, and so forth it is difficult to win on the road it is a proven fact. Even the good teams like the Rams and Chiefs are going to lose on the road. Watch. The object is to win at home. The average/good/great teams must win 6 at home and 4 on the road. For record of 10-6 anything else is gravy. If they win more at home say 7-1 or 8-0. They have done their job completely by defending the home, and everything else they do is gravy time two.

In the NHL teams play 41 at home and 41 on the road. Object is win 23 or more at home. Try to win 21 or more on the road. It is hard to win on the road in all sports period. My Los Angeles Kings Home record‎: ‎23–15–3 in 2017-18 Road record‎: ‎22–14–5 in 2017-18 only got 98 points.

For our Dolphins we are 2-0 at home and 1-2 on the road. Object is to win 4 more at home but win AFC games are more important. Need to win 3 more on road AFC are more important. Anything else is gravy.

We all need to see what happens. Yes, it looks bleak because of what is going on currently. But, remember in 2016 it took us Week 6 to figure it all out and reel off 6 straight wins. We do not know what is going to happen. We all just need to cheer them on and hope for the best.

GO DOLPHINS!!!! SKIN DA BEARS!!!!

It isn’t the losing.

It’s how we lose.

Public castration at Foxboro. 38-7 for those who have forgotten.

****ing up a 17-0 lead at Cincinnati.

40% of original O line remains.

Parker is a Christmas ornament. Once a year, just for looks...

Gimme a break. It’s a soup sandwich.

Soup sandwich LMAO. Now that’s funny.

I would agree. As bad as the Patriots game was...try and move on. They did. Nice big lead in Cincy. Then they blow that one.

Playoff bound teams find ways to win. This team seemingly finds ways to lose.

Another big game next week. The rest of the division isn't going to sit by.

Couldn't agree more with the OP's sentiment.

There are so many things we saw happen in 2016 that are similar. The losses to Cin and Ten that year were on par with the performances in the last 2 games (even some of the stats are eerily similar).

Difference this year is that we are starting 3-2 this time rather than a 1-4 hole. The question is whether the coaches and players can turn things round like in 2016 and find the winning formula.

Recipe for 10 wins is win at home and steal 2 away. Recipe for 12 is win at home and split 4-4 away. Not saying that's what's going to happen, before someone jumps down my throat! Lol, but still on course for that if the team can find the formula in a similar fashion to 2016

I want this SAME energy from you optimists in 8 weeks. The kool-aid will be long gone by then.

Not to sound like a party pooper, but I been riding this era for 7 yrs. strong, but that NE game woke the hell outta me.

I'm with Dolfan85. Even if we win a bunch more games. It will just delay what has to happen. We need a QB that can win some for us. Not one that will not loose a few for us.

It probably is though.

I'm just taking the 3-0 as a pleasant surprise. This team did not have a lot of talent coming into this season and the depth was particularly terrible. Now that we're losing players left and right, I wouldn't be surprised to see us lose a whole lot more games.

The one thing I can't get over this season was the rigged game up in Foxboro. That was unacceptable. I don't care that the Dolphins are probably lucky to be 3-2, I don't care that we deserved to lose, but there's a reason I don't watch Basketball or Wrestling, and I'm getting closer and closer to just stepping away from watching the NFL forever.

Sorry but I have zero faith in Ryan Tannehill... no the season is not over not even close. We will bounce back just to fall flat again. I no longer believe if we had all the other pieces Tannehill would be good enough.

This! It’s over! You are just setting yourself up for disappointment thinking that this team is going anywhere but down.

More stats....more hope …..

This team does not play well... they haven't for years...there is not enough gravy to cover the flaws this team has executing the plays practiced and scripted.... we simply are out played and out coached nearly every game we play...

I disagree with the OP on this one... this season, like many before it, is really over... we are not competitive most of the time and haven't been for years... we have no play maker at QB... or LB...or DL and IMO those 3 positions NEED a difference maker in order to be relevant consistently … do all successful NFL teams have ALL of these ingredients?.... probably not... but they probably have at least one of them … we have none

It would be just like them to make Chicago's D look like shredded cheese this weekend and provide another cup of false hope to the faithful but I sense a whole lot of quit in them now after last week and with that defense being rested and ready Im going with a Bears KO in the 1st quarter. I think we will get to see Oweller run the 1st team offense this week.

Hands up who thought the season was going nowhere in 2016 at 1-4 after that Tennesee loss...

I'll put my hand straight up. I was among those calling 'we want Moore'...

Being an optimist, guilty. Feeling great when Miami wins and being on a high and having hope guilty. Kool aid drinker, not so much.

This last 2 weeks has felt horrific on Monday and then the drug that is Miami Dolphins football and hope keeps drawing me back in. Lol

However as bad as things are, for some reason, I can't help but want to see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Will it be 2016, or will it be 2013?

Who do we have that will stop Khalil Mack? Even the great Aaron Rodgers looked bad vs the Bears. They are coming off a bye and at their home. It’s going to be ugly.
